What it is
A £1.2 billion investment trust that aims for long-term growth by investing in global technology companies. The annual charge is 0.9 per cent and there is no dividend.

What it invests in
It is 90 per cent invested in the US and its top three holdings are the American tech giants Amazon, Apple and Alphabet, the parent company of Google.

A 70.4 per cent return over one year compares with an average return of 38.1 per cent for sector rivals. Over five years it has returned 333.5 per cent, against 227.6 per cent for the sector.
