It’s Holi 2021 and while most of us are still in lockdown or are trying to avoid public places, it only makes sense to wish each other digitally. And WhatsApp, being one of the most popular platforms for instant messaging, is letting you do that by not just sending ‘Happy Holi’ images and gifs but also stickers. If you too are planning to wish your friends and family using WhatsApp Stickers, here’s a nifty step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp chat and tap on the emoji icon placed on the left side of the chat bar.
Step 2: Open the Stickers option from the bottom.
Step 3: You can see the default Sticker pack in the list. However, to get a Holi-themed pack, you need to tap on plus (+) option.
Step 4: Users can also scroll to the bottom and tap on ‘Get More Stickers’. This will open Google Play Store and will show a list of Stickers that you can download.
Step 5: Click ‘add to WhatsApp’ button and import it to WhatsApp.
Step 6: Search for ‘Holi Stickers’ on Google Play. Once installed, the Stickers will start appearing in the dedicated Sticker section inside WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, you cannot visit the App Store to search for WhatsApp sticker packs and download it. However, you can save the Stickers sent by others and send it to others.
In the meanwhile, WhatsApp’s parent firm, Facebook has also rolled out Holi-themed avatars. While launching, Facebook said there have been more than four million people in India who made over 6.6 million posts and comments about Holi in the past two weeks. Facebook users can create Holi-themed avatars from the smartphone app.
