The McHenry County College Workforce, Community and Business Program will offer QuickBooks Online accounting software training from
6 to 9 p.m. Mondays from Jan. 13 through Feb. 17 at the MCC Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.
The course is designed to cover the cloud-computing version of the program.
QuickBooks is a small-business accounting program that makes it easier to organize one’s finances. QuickBooks Online is a distinct product that has features that work differently than desktop versions.
Using the QuickBooks mobile app, QBO, allows users to capture receipts and attach them to any transaction; automatically download and categorize bank and credit card transactions; send invoices; reconcile accounts; run payroll; and access online data 24/7 on a mobile device, PC or Mac.
The training course helps users become confident using QBO and save time and money by eliminating the need to learn by trial and error. Basic accounting and computer skills are necessary for participants to be successful. The cost of the series is $495. Use course code NTC C50 002 when registering.
Workforce, Community and Business Program courses also are available for on-site training at a company’s office and are customizable to individual needs.
